We have been contacted by Linxs Consultancy who are working on behalf of the Police and Crime Commissioner to undertake an independent strategic review of services for victims and survivors of sexual abuse and sexual violence in West Yorkshire.
The purpose of the review is to explore the current level of support across West Yorkshire, and consider whether there are any gaps that need to be filled. More importantly they want to put victims and survivors at the centre of the research process, examining their journeys to see how improvements can be made for those in present and future need of support. In other words, they want to ensure that the needs of victims and survivors is made an essential component of how strategies and services are developed, commissioned and configured going forward.
