Groups and Drop-Ins
Below are the various groups and drop-in sessions we offer.
Support Group for Girls Aged 13-17
At RASAC, we run a supportive and empowering group for girls aged 13-17 who have experienced sexual violence. This is a safe, judgement-free space where you can share your thoughts and feelings with others who understand.
The group meets weekly on the same day, from 3:45 PM to 6:00 PM, for 10 weeks. Each session focuses on a different theme, like healthy relationships, managing emotions, building coping skills, and developing assertiveness. Expect a mix of activities, including creative arts and crafts, in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
The sessions are led by two female workers, ensuring you feel supported throughout. You don’t need to be accessing our other services to join this group. If you have any questions about this group email us on isva@rasac.co.uk. If you would like to refer to this group, click here.
Women of Colour Group
Our Chai and Chat sessions provide a warm, welcoming, and supportive space for women to come together, enjoy tea and toast, and connect with others in a relaxed environment.
These sessions offer an opportunity to share experiences, access peer support, exchange information, and have meaningful conversations with others who may understand some of the challenges you are facing. Whether you would like to talk, listen, or spend time with others, you will be welcomed in a safe and nurturing environment facilitated by women of colour.
The sessions take place every six weeks from 10:00am–12:00pm. Our 2026 dates are;
27 August 2026
8 October 2026
19 November 2026
Travel expenses can be reimbursed, and children are welcome. For more information, please email helpine@rasac.co.uk.
The Power Programme (Women’s Group)
The Power Programme is a 15-week therapeutic and educational journey designed specifically for women who have experienced sexual violence. It offers a safe, nurturing space where participants can explore and make sense of their experiences, while building tools for healing, self-compassion, and personal growth.
Together, in a supportive group setting, women are empowered to reclaim their voices and strengthen their paths forward.
Men’s Group
Our Men’s Group recognises the unique challenges male survivors of rape and sexual violence face in today’s society. This structured 10 – week psychoeducational programme provides a space for men with shared experiences to come together, focus on topics to support healing, reflect, and support one another.
You are not alone. In this safe and respectful environment, healing and empowerment are not just possible—they are the focus.
